Governing
Committee
The
role of the Governing Committee is to provide overall direction
to the Steering Committees and Recognizing Organizations involved
in the Award Program. This group is also responsible for the
ongoing organizational structure and consistent branding of the
Award, which includes, but is not limited to:
- Standards
of Award Eligibility
- Organization
of Local Steering Committees
- Education
of Local Steering Committees
- Public
Relations
- Financial
Management
- Preparation
and Maintenance of Procedures Manual
- Program
Expansion

While
the Governing Committee is responsible for the overall management
and governance of the program, input from the various Steering Committees
is encouraged and welcome as the Award Program continues to grow
and evolve.
