Celebrating its 10th Anniversary in 2011, the Essence of Humanity Award Program recognizes individuals who demonstrate remarkable qualities including courage, love, and extraordinary strength in the face of adversity. Business and community leaders in South-Central Pennsylvania began the program in 2001 in order to celebrate and elevate the stories of these remarkable members of the community.
