Recognizing Organization

A Recognizing Organization is the vehicle through which the Essence of Humanity Award is presented.  It commits to participating in the Award Program for a minimum of two years, and agrees to the following responsibilities:

• Encourage nomination of potential Award Recipients, both within their organization and in their local community.

• Incorporate presentation of the Award and recognition of the Award Recipient into an already established, routinely-held event.

• Publicize the Award Program, both internally and externally, as outlined and approved by the Governing Committee of the Essence of Humanity Award, including stories of past Award recipients.  Public relations is a significant and critical element of a successful program.

• Cover the cost to maintain a plaque at their respective location listing present and past Award Recipients from the organization.
  

• Cover the cost of the Award Recipient and one family member to attend the event where the Award is presented.
